A Splash of Panache on the Runway

January 26, 2012

Inimitability will be the watchword for this year's Montréal Fashion Week, which will showcase all the latest trends for 2012–2013 Fall–Winter.

Established labels Muse by Christian Chenail, Tavan & MittoDUYMélissa Nepton and Marie Saint Pierre will do us the honour of breaking the ice on opening night and thus setting the tone for the 22nd edition.

Faithful to Montréal fashion's signature heterogeneity, creativity and rebelliousness, the second day will showcase the new lines from SecondKollontaï, Martin LimAnnie 50Dinh Bá Design and Eve Gravel.

For those who stand by the maxim that beauty is in the details, the third day's lineup is sure to please, bringing a taste of sophistication from CIN Tailors, refinement from Ça va de soi (making their Marché Bonsecours catwalk debut), and luxury from Samuel Dong.

Dedicated exclusively to up-and-coming designers, closing night will highlight the ingenuity of our emerging talent by way of the Exhibit 22 project (Aime by WBetina LouBirds of North America, LLUI, Maude Nibelungen and White Label) and the TÉLIO – Canada's Breakthrough Designers competition, which provides funding for the country's aspiring fashion gurus. The event will be capped off with a runway show by an exceptional group of designers with styles all equally unique: UNTTLDAnastasia Lomonova and LYN.

Get ready to be blown away!
