The Montréal Fashion Bureau (MFB) is mandated to promote Montréal fashion as well as to stimulate pride in local shopping. The MFB was created in March 2009 by the Ville de Montréal and received financial support from the Gouvernement du Québec.
In addition to launching the ModeMontreal.TV website, the Montréal Fashion Bureau already has many activities to its credit, supporting a number of existing and developing fashion events. The Bureau has deployed Mode Montréal window transfers, physically identifying Mode Montréal designers and retailers, as well as banners with the eye-catching slogan “La mode Montréal se porte bien” placed in the downtown area’s main fashion streets.
